Prime Minister Imran Khan warned that the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) would not be given in return for the law.
He said that the law on meeting the requirements set by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) was very important for the national interest. No NROs will be given in return.
PM Imran Khan said this during a meeting of the PTI parliamentary party on Thursday. He said that the opposition had tried to create obstacles with each law. But he explained that the government would continue to give them a hard time.
“The opposition will not be given an NRO at any cost.”
Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Karachi’s development is the first priority for the country’s development.
According to the details, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has asked Prime Minister Imran Khan. Cross-Sindh issues including Karachi were also discussed at the meeting.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister notified the government’s decision for an initial hearing on Article 140A and said that the development of Karachi was a top priority.
The Sindh governor has also told the Prime Minister about the situation in the province and the Prime Minister has convinced the Sindh Governor to resolve the problems of Karachi.
