ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – National Food Security Minister Syed Fakhar Imam on Thursday has asked Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan in Islamabad.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed matters related to grain smuggling and strategies to improve flour quality.

Earlier, National Food Security Minister Syed Fakhar Imam said that Pakistan produced 90 percent of food items except cooking oil.

The government has allocated 50 billion rupees only for the Ramazan package to facilitate the community, he said.

The Minister said that the whole world is facing the COVID-19 crisis and is trying to control it by taking different steps to counter it.
