Hafeez Shaikh appreciates the efforts of the Japanese government to control the pandemic

ISLAMABAD (APP) – The Japanese government said Monday it is ready to provide expertise and all forms of assistance to the Government of Pakistan in the difficult times of the current coronavirus pandemic.

“The Japanese government supports the Pakistani people in these difficult times and is ready to offer their expertise and all forms of assistance to the Pakistani government, if the situation is so,” the Ambassador told Advisers to the Prime Minister of Finance and Revenue, Abdul Hafeez Shaikh during a meeting call.

The ambassador shared with his advisors the steps taken by the Japanese government to overcome the coronavirus pandemic and the impact it has had so far, the Ministry of Finance press release said.

The Ambassador also discussed certain issues from Japanese investors in Pakistan arising from restrictions on business activities.

Hafeez Shaikh appreciated the Japanese government’s efforts to control the pandemic and thanked him for his support of the people of Pakistan.
