A senior leader of the United Business Group, former ANP senator, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour has reacted strongly to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement about Jahangir Tareen and Khushro Bakhteyar after bringing up investigative reports on flour and the sugar crisis.
Bilour, in a statement issued here on Monday, said that if Prime Minister Imran Khan and his colleagues were not behind the flour and sugar crisis, he would have to postpone the agreement with IPP and sign a new agreement by negotiating in the best interests of Pakistan and its people and for the sake of the prestige of their government. He demanded that the details of this agreement be made public.
“We know very well that Imran Khan does not make judgments about blue-eyed people and he will never do it.” However, he said at least the prime minister must order to return the subsidies, which were given to the sugar factory and the amount to be saved in Corona’s aid funds.
