LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited the Central PCR Lab (Polymerase Chain Reaction) Lab, which was established by the Department of Primary & Secondary Health (P & SHD) on Birdwood Road for coronavirus testing.

He inspected various parts of the province’s third-largest security-level lab while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and asking staff about testing procedures.

He appreciated the establishment of laboratories and praised the services provided by the department.

P & SHD Secretary Muhammad Usman told CM about test procedures.

He said that biologists work day and night in the lab.

Meanwhile, more than 3,100 coronavirus tests are carried out throughout Punjab every day, he added.

Provincial Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid, Punjab Minister of Information & Culture Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, Information Secretary and others were present outside the lab.
