Coronavirus cases reached six in Haripur
HARIPUR: The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has reached six in the district, an official said on Monday.
Dr Sher Bahadur, in charge of the district Health Department’s Rapid Response Team, said that one positive case was reported from Muhalla Muslimabad from the city of Khalabat where three cases had arisen. He said another case was reported from Ainpoor village in the Sera-e-Nehmat Khan union council. The official said coronavirus patients had recently returned from Karachi while patients from Khalabat Township had come from Malaysia. He said that two positive patients had just been transferred to the Haripur quarantine center and his condition was stable. The official said that family members of the two patients had been quarantined at home. Dr Sher Bahadur said that the number of suspected cases had also increased to 86 in the district. However, he said that 42 people tested negative and the results of tests from several patients suspected of being awaited.
