New Delhi: Hours after Pakistan claimed to have evidence of India’s alleged role in terror attacks on its territory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MEA) called it a futile anti-India propaganda exercise.
“The so-called ‘proof’ claims against India have no credibility, are fabricated and represent a delusion of the imagination,” he said.
India further said that the press conference was a deliberate attempt on the part of the Pakistani government to shift focus away from internal political and economic failures.
Osama was found in Pak; Imran glorifies him as a ‘martyr’
“It also seeks to justify cross-border terrorism, including violations of the ceasefire and infiltration at the LoC and IB,” the MEA said.
“This so-called accusation represents a figment of their imagination. Desperate efforts will find no recipient in the international community. Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Pakistan has admitted to having a role in the Pulwama terror attack in Kashmir. The face of global terror, Osama Bin Laden, is found in Pakistan. His PM glorifies him as a ‘martyr’ of Parliament, he acknowledges the presence of 40,000 terrorists in Pak, their Ministers proudly claim the involvement & success of Pakistan, led by PM, in the Pulwama terror attack, “MEA said in a statement.
In June 2020, Imran Khan called terrorist Osama bin Laden a “martyr” in parliament.
Fawad Chaudhry brags about Pak’s role in the Pulwama attack
Said Islamabad should never take part in the US-led ‘war on terror’; Khan accused American troops of entering Pakistan and killing Laden without informing Islamabad.
Everyone in the world started to harass Pakistan in a very shameful way, Khan said.
Last month, to be honest, Pakistan’s Science and Technology Minister Fawad Chaudhry boasted about Islamabad’s role in the 2019 Pulwama offensive in Kashmir in which 40 Indian paramilitary troops were martyred.
In a speech to the National Assembly, Chaudhry called the Pulwama terror attack a “accomplishment” under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s leadership.
