21,000 Pakistanis lost their jobs in Arab countries: Zulfi Bukhari.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – aide Pakistan’s Prime Minister abroad, Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, popularly known as Zulfi Bukhari, said 21,000 Pakistanis had lost their jobs in Arab countries because of COVID-19.

Zulfi Bukhari, while giving an interview to the British broadcaster, said tension and anger would decrease only after 7,000 Pakistanis would return every week.

The PM’s aide emphasized that efforts had been accelerated to bring back our citizens who were stranded after the suspension of flight operations due to coronavirus.

He said that the federal government was also trying to ensure the work of all Pakistanis who had been sent back because of the coronavirus outbreak as soon as the situation became better.

Zulfi Bukhari further added that there was no pressure on Pakistan by the Gulf states to attract their citizens.
