To spread awareness among the masses that facts and authenticity are important for science news coverage, a group of students with their senior colleagues from various fields of life emerged, and with the collaboration of more than 10 universities in Pakistan published a magazine edition specifically covering Coronavirus.
However, he also brought some interesting stories about other diseases transmitted by viruses such as Polio, Hepatitis, influenza, flu, smallpox and Spanish flu.
Speaking with BOL News, Saadeqa Khan, founder and editor of the magazine, Scientia Pakistan said that “there is a huge need for credible and research-based information.
Such articles can help many people to understand the reality of their routine problems and develop strategies accordingly. During the current pandemic, national and international organizations have faced severe problems from false news and myths. Our team with their university’s senior teachers, health experts, and senior science journalists work on such stories, which will greatly help to understand the reality of the virus and remove myths that plague our society.
