As Chairman of the Pakistani National Assembly Asad Qaiser tested positive for the new corona virus, the threat of Prime Minister Imran Khan becoming infected once again emerged. Pakistani journalist Naila Inayat took to Twitter and said that Imran Khan met Qaiser on April 24, which happened to be two days after the results of Imran Khan’s Covid test came out.

Speaker of the Pakistan National Assembly is positive

Chairperson of Pakistan’s National Assembly Asad Qaiser is the latest politician and Pakistan’s third leader Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) who tested positive for COVID-19 which has infected 16,353 people across Pakistan, according to Dawn. Speaker of the National Assembly (NA), Asad Qaiser, as well as his sons and daughters, have tested positive for the Coronavirus novel.

Imran Khan was stated negative

On April 22, the results of the Covid Imran Khan test arrived and he was tested negative for the new corona virus. This happened a day after it was discovered that Faisal Edhi with whom Khan interacted on April 15 was confirmed as a positive COVID-19 patient. Khan’s test report was confirmed by Dr.Zafar Mirza, Pakistan’s PM Special Assistant for Health. Earlier, reports showed that Imran Khan’s family members were also tested negative for the Coronavirus novel.

Faisal Edhi has handed a check of 1 crore worth of Pakistani rupees to Khan in Islamabad in his capacity as head of the Edhi Foundation, which is the country’s largest charity foundation. Reportedly, he experienced symptoms of COVID-19 immediately after visiting Islamabad. Although these symptoms subsided after 4 days, he insisted on being tested because he had worked with new Coronavirus patients. At present, he is in an isolation room in a hospital in Islamabad.
