MUMBAI: Former international referee Reporter Piloo on Monday honored for his services to Indian cricket by The Cricketers Foundation here.
The 82 year old woman, who took 14 Tests and 22 ODI in a 28 year career, was awarded a total of Rs 75,000 by the foundation.
He was invited by former Pakistan captain Imran Khan in 1986 to lead with other Indian VK Ramaswamy in the Pakistan versus West Indies series, making them the world’s first neutral referee pair.
The Cricketers Foundation has assisted several unsung heroes Mumbai Cricket.
