LAHORE: A total of 1,921 patients in Punjab have recovered from coronavirus, so far, provincial Health Minister Dr Yasmin Rashid said on Friday.
Dr Yasmin Rashid in her statement showed her happiness over the fast recovery of coronavirus patients and said 114 patients recovered their health in the past two days.
The minister said that the provincial government used all resources to reduce pandemic outbreaks.
He urged people to fight COVID-19 by adopting preventive measures and SOPs designed by the government. Dr Yasmin Rashid urged people to stay at home and exercise to maintain social distance.
It can be noted that the number of corona viruses reached 16,817 in Pakistan, according to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Operations Center.
According to the national dashboard, 24 deaths were reported during the past 24 hours, bringing the count to 385 while 4,315 patients recovered from the virus and 153 are still critical.
12,117 patients are still being treated at hospitals and quarantine facilities in the country. The country has carried out 1.82,031 coronavirus tests in total including 7,971, in the past 24 hours.
