Through his YouTube video talk show, former Pakistani spinner Saqlain Mushtaq paid homage to two Indian “stars” – Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor– who died earlier this week.

Mushtaq began the ‘show’ with a message, saying that death is a fact of life and that inevitably will one day come to everyone and each will feel it.

Recalling the ‘message of peace and harmony’ with Rishi Kapoor on Twitter, Saqlain said that he wanted to meet with Indian actors and be ready to be his driver.

Speaking of Khan, Mushtaq said he had lived in England for the past 18 years and knew many friends who admired and respected Indian actors.

Irrfan died on Wednesday morning while Rishi Kapoor died on Thursday. Both actors have fought against cancer.

Mushtaq, 43, recently said that if India and Pakistan played, “there is a possibility of improved relations.”

He recalled the experience that made him aware of the power of sports.

“Sachin and Shane Warne have held an All-Stars match in America (in 2015). You wouldn’t believe I saw a flag with the colors of the flags of India and Pakistan. An Indian and Pakistani put them together.

“That brings the two countries closer. I will ask the ICC to investigate this matter. Financially too, this is a win-win for BCCI and PCB. This series is much bigger than Ashes,” he said.
