LAHORE: Pakistan-Nawaz Muslim League (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif said that he did not leave the country by agreement or he returned after making any kind of agreement, ARY NEWS reported.
“I not only left my brother but I had to leave him while he was being treated there,” Shehbaz Sharif said.
The PML-N leader said that it was due to his brother’s illness that he accompanied him to London and had to return to Pakistan in a state of urgency after learning of the flight suspension due to a coronavirus pandemic.
He also demanded the government to call a Parliament session to debate on the coronavirus problem.
It is important to mention here that PML-N President and Opposition Leader at the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif landed at Islamabad airport from London on March 22.
In his first message on social media after his arrival, Sharif said that he had reached Islamabad and advised his fellow countrymen to keep their distance from each other and stay home.
In a Twitter statement, party spokeswoman Marriyum Aurangzeb earlier said the PML-N leader had decided to return to the country after a coronavirus outbreak.
Shehbaz Sharif will board a plane bound for Islamabad (PIA) Pakistan International Airlines at Heathrow airport, scheduled to leave at 16:40 (GMT) on Saturday and is expected to land in Islamabad at 5:30 am on Sunday, the statement said.
