Favoritism is suspected in the recruitment of Rescue 1122 in Bajaur
KHAR: Some Bajaur residents on Tuesday charged that favoritism and nepotism were carried out in the recent recruitment of candidates for various jobs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rescue 1122.
Speaking at a press conference here, Riazuddin, Abdur Raziq, Aimal Khan, Fazal Hayan and others claimed that there were no clear and set procedures for interview signs and recruitment policies. “We have petitioned the Peshawar High Court to postpone the postponement of the recruitment process after we approached every office and related officials, but no one listened to our complaints,” said one speaker. He claimed that they had evidence of favoritism and corruption carried out during the recruitment process.
They said that evidence of corruption would be produced in court to stop the recruitment process carried out through illegal means in Rescue 1122. The complainants alleged that candidates who scored from 25 to 35 marks were chosen for various jobs but those who had obtained 65 to 75 marks had rejected without giving any reason.
