PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News – 4 May, 2020): Newly appointed PESCO Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Muhammad Jabbar Khan on Monday chaired his first meeting at Wapda House here and a number of issues are being discussed.
Senior management and PESCO Senior Field Officers including all The UK attends meetings where CEOs are directed to accelerate actions against “Kunda Culture.” He said providing facilities to consumers and worker safety was the first choice. He directed the relevant officials to maintain 11 KV feeders.
He said tree trimming and feeder patrols must be ensured to correct consumer complaints and protect workers from any accident.
The CEO ordered to speed up the promotion process and increase the staff that is their right.
He said the damaged transformer must be replaced immediately besides repairing the damaged one according to the SOP.
We all have to work together and everyone has to get out from office and visit the field for recovery of consumer complaints. “He further said that PESCOEmployees must work honestly and with full dedication.
He said employees with poor performance will face music while employees with good performance will be appreciated.
He said, a lot of work had to be done to bring PESCO from loss and there is a need to make collective work for it. He directed the field officers to educate the public about the flow energy crisis and also get the cooperation of public representatives in this matter, so that energy consumption can be minimized by reducing consumption.
He asked customers to expand their cooperation to save energy and avoid illegal use electricity so that uninterruptible power supplies can be provided.
