Anjuman-e-Tajran Lahore said that they would open their markets on May 10.

The center has imposed locking until May 9. A decision regarding its extension has not yet been made. Pakistan has reported at least 21,500 new known cases of the virus so far.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Lahore traders said they would break the lock if the government did not revoke it after May 9. “We are not challenging the State warrant. Lahore traders want to continue their business, “traders said.

On the other hand, traders in Sindh have also announced restarting businesses from May 10.

Sindh Tajir Ittehad Chairwoman Jameel Paracha said people could not feed their families.
