The Kashmir liberation movement has entered a new phase: Sirajul Haq | Instant News

LAHORE: Senator Amat Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq said that the martyrdom of Kashmiri independence fighters, Commander Riaz Naiku will bring Kashmiri liberation closer to realization.

He spoke to participants at Ghaibana Namaz-e-Janaza (funeral prayer in absentia) for Commander Riaz Naiku in Mansoora on Thursday.

He said the Kashmir liberation movement had entered a new phase after the martyrdom of Burhan Wani. Likewise, the martyrdom of Riaz Naiku will instill new enthusiasm among young Kashmiris. Sirajul Haq said Indian troops blindly killed Kashmir’s leadership. Over the past nine months, there has been the worst lockdown in Indian Kashmir. Indian troops have broken all records of oppression. During the corona virus epidemic, on the one hand, Kashmiris were trapped in their homes and on the other hand, Indian troops searched young Kashmiri door-to-door.

Sirajul Haq said that despite all these tactics, India would not be able to suppress the liberation movement of Kashmir. Therefore, he was impressed with the UN and the world community to stop Indian atrocities in Kashmir. The JI head said the release of Kashmir from Indian occupation was written on the wall, adding that India had failed to destroy the liberation movement of Kashmir for the past 70 years. He said that as India’s brutality increased, the spirit of liberation of Kashmir also increased.

He said that around 18,000 young Kashmiri youths had been taken from their homes and jailed. Every day, young Kashmiris are killed in so-called gatherings. Thousands of Kashmiris lay in torture cells. Despite all this, liberation slogans were heard from every door.

He said Indian Prime Minister Modi thought that by changing Kashmir’s constitutional status, putting the Hurriat leadership behind bars, and removing thousands of Kashmir from the scene, Indian power in Kashmir would strengthen. However, he said, it was proven that Modi was wrong. Sirajul Haq said Kashmir was a matter of life and death for Pakistan, but the government had pushed the Kashmir problem behind. The rulers tried to shake hands with Indian leaders and withdraw their support from Kashmir. That is why the goal of liberation cannot be achieved so far. He said it was the duty of the Pakistani government to highlight the Kashmir problem at all international forums, including the United Nations, the OIC, the European Union, so that India was forced to fulfill its commitment to give Kashmiri self-determination rights. Meanwhile, in a statement, JI Naib Ameer Liaqat Baloch said that all Pakistan had united against all possible Indian aggressions. He said the nation would defend every inch of its homeland and at the same time, it would not leave the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Liaqat Baloch urged the prime minister to unite the nation and leadership to meet the challenges that arise due to the coronavirus on the one hand, and the aggressive design of New Delhi on the other. He said that a national commission must be formed to develop a collective strategy to deal with the situation at home as well as the external front. He welcomed the formation of a minority commission without Ahmadiyah and said that all schools of Muslim thought were united in belief in Khatam-e-Nubuwwat and they would frustrate any conspiracy to damage their belief in this matter.
