PM Imran directs to treat COVID-19 patients with the best care | Instant News


ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan was directed on Saturday to treat Covid-19 patients in hospital with full care and responsibility, ARY News reported.

Following the National Health Task Force meeting in Islamabad, PM Imran called on the relevant authorities to develop a comprehensive strategy to raise awareness among the masses about the new corona virus.

Expressing disappointment at media reports about bad behavior in COVID-19 patients by several medical staff at the hospital, the prime minister said that such behavior could not be tolerated and would create fear among patients.

On that occasion, PM Imran said that the coronavirus situation in Pakistan was different compared to other countries and could be improved by adopting security measures.

He urged residents to immediately conduct their tests, if they feel the symptoms of Covid-19.

Earlier on April 4, Prime Minister Imran Khan on a one-day visit to the capital of Punjab visited a 1000-bed field hospital set up at the city’s exhibition center to facilitate patients and suspects of the corona virus.

The prime minister was accompanied by Federal Ministers Fawad Chaudhry and Shafqat Mehmood along with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi.

The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for poverty alleviation and a key person for Ehsaas PM Sania Nishtar’s initiative along with SAPM on Health, Zafar Mirza and Usman Dar also accompanied Prime Minister Imran Khan on the trip.
