ISLAMABAD, 10 MAY (DNA) – Islamabad has tested the new corona virus which is mandatory for all restaurant employees who send food throughout the capital.
According to a notice by the administration, only employees who test negative for deadly viruses will be allowed to send or prepare shipment.
“Home deliveries for food and non-food are directed to adhere to SOPs for personal hygiene and sanitation both for themselves and their deliveries,” it reads.
Restaurants and shops have also been instructed to place hand santisers at their entry and exit points.
“We found several cases where several dispatchers tested positive for COVID-19,” Deputy Commissioner Islamabad said.
“A decision has been taken to ensure that the spread of the deadly virus is overcome,” he added.
Restaurant owners, however, have complained that the coronavirus test is very expensive. “Large restaurants have around 100 employees while small ones have at least 20 employees,” one of them said.
They demand that the government give them incentives or packages so they can easily get their staff tested. =DNA
