KARACHI: Two bodies of children were found in a car in the Manghopir city area, ARY News reported on Wednesday, citing sources.
According to the details, the bodies were identified as being from Danish Zubair and Ubaid Saeed, aged between 4 and 7 years, rescue sources said.
The bodies are said to be three to 4 days old, which were taken from vehicles parked at Umar Goth for several days.
Rescuers said the children had died of suffocation, while further investigations into the matter were ongoing.
On April 26, at least five children drowned while swimming in a pit, filled with water in Surjani City, Sector 7D, Karachi.
According to rescuers, a group of five children were swimming in water collected in a building that was being built.
The bodies were later found and transferred to the Abbas Shaheed Hospital. The children were aged between nine and 14 years, according to rescue workers.
