2.2 million families to get aid packages at KP, said CM advisers
PESHAWAR: Chief Adviser to the Minister of Information and Public Relations Ajmal Wazir on Wednesday said that under Prime Minister Ehsas Kafalat’s program, 2.2 million families have been identified in the province for aid packages and payment of Rs12000 for each will start from today (Thursday ).
Speaking to the media, Ajmal Wazir said that 272 quarantine centers had been established throughout the province, with a capacity of 17,530 patients. He said that around 3500 points had been set up throughout the province to deliver aid packages and all payments would be made online through the Information Management System to make it transparent. In the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa aid package, Rs6,000 will be given after one or two weeks. He said that there were 527 confirmed corona cases throughout the province while tests for 1,261 patients came negative and 18 patients had died so far from the virus.
About 18 of the 19 patients returned from the quarantine center established in Darazinda. Likewise, 217 of 281 at Gomal Medical College and all 152 patients returned to their homes from the Dauranpur Quarantine Center, Peshawar.
He said doctors, paramedics and health staff are our heroes that the nation will always remember and the provincial government pays tribute to them all.
