Islamabad[[[[Pakistan]May 14 (ANI): Highlights discrimination faced against the Baloch people at the hands of the Prime Minister Imran Khangovernment, Party Senator Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami (PkMAP) Mohammad Usman Khan Kakar has said that the authorities have not provided single ventilator to Balochistan.
Speaking during the Parliament session, Kakar said there was a shortage of test equipment in the province, adding that there was only one laboratory in the country. “People have to wait for 15 days to receive their test results,” Dawn said.
He criticized the performance of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), calling it “unsatisfactory”. He attacked the government for fighting with the opposition instead of taking drastic steps in dealing with the plague.
Balochistan, the most volatile province on the southwestern border Pakistan has been below PakistanOppression since 1948. Balochistan is rich in minerals and is the largest province in the country.
The province has reported 2,239 cases of corona virus and 27 deaths so far. Meanwhile, the total number of cases in the country is approaching 37,000.
International groups like Human Rights Institute and Amnesty International regularly called Pakistan for gross human rights violations in Balochistan. (ANI)
