The Pakistani government will operate special PIA flights from China on May 18
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The government has decided to provide assistance to students who are stranded in China and announce discounts on plane tickets for their return to Pakistan.
According to sources, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan has prepared a plan in this case in collaboration with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Flight tickets for students stranded in the Chinese city of Wuhan will only cost Rs 50,000.
The Pakistani government will operate a special PIA flight on May 18 to bring back 300 students who were stranded in China. In this case, displaced parents meet the Special Assistant to Prime Minister Zulfi Bukhari who brings them into trust. Parents welcomed the government’s move and praised its decision.
Zulfi Bukhari said that Wuhan students and their parents had experienced the most difficult times over the past six months. He said that we remained in contact with parents during this ordeal and providing cheap airplane tickets would really help them.
