LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has demanded the federal government to place the opposition leader in the name of National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif on the exit control list (ECL) after the disclosure made by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) regarding its corruption.
In a statement issued on Sunday, he said Nawaz-Leaguers had to answer questions, posed by Shahzad Akbar based on NAB investigations, regarding the corruption of their leader Shahbaz Sharif. Chohan said Sharif’s family had given a new form of corruption in Pakistan and that its network consisted of fake companies, personal servants and official resources. The complete trail of bribes received by Shahbaz Sharif exists and no NRO will be given to anyone, said Chohan while reaffirming the determination of the government of Pakistan’s Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Prime Minister Imran Khan.
