Pakistan Railways will begin limited railroad operations throughout the country from today.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Railroad Pakistan will begin limited railroad operations across the country starting today (Wednesday) with 15 boarding and 15 getting off the train to facilitate passengers during Eid, Dunya News reported.

Pakistan Railways has issued a schedule for boarding and disembarking trains. According to the schedule, the first train will depart from Lahore to Rawalpindi. Subak Kharam is scheduled to depart from Lahore to Rawalpindi at 6:30 a.m.

Khyber Mail will leave Karachi for Peshawar (Above) at 11:00 pm, while from Peshawar to Karachi (Below) at the same time.

Green Line Express will depart from Karachi to Margala Train Station (Above) at 21:00, while from Margala Train Station to Karachi (Below) at 15:00.

According to sources, Tezgam Express schedules, Business Class Pak, Jaffar Express, Awam Express, Millat Express and other Up and Down trains have also been released.

Passengers must follow the following SOP to travel by train:

Passengers are asked to maintain a reasonable distance from each other.
Travel with a minimum of people in an emergency.
Train reservations only through online tickets. The booking office will be closed.
Orders will be closed after occupancy of 60%.
Walk-through gate sanitizers will be installed at various stations.
Passengers will be allowed to enter the station one hour before the train departure.
Passenger families will not be allowed to enter the station to say goodbye / welcome to them.
Areas up to 200 meters will be closed to unnecessary.
Medics and staff have been deployed at the train stop station to ensure social distance.
The temperature of all passengers will be checked during the trip. Bring a mask, cleanser, gloves and soap.
