PPP leaders provide medical equipment to LRH staff | Instant News

PESHAWAR: Secretary General of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari on Thursday visited Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar and handed over medical assistance to the hospital administration.

Flanked by the party’s provincial branch president Humayun Khan, secretary general Faisal Karim Kundi, Gohar Inqualibi, Farzand Wazir, president of the People’s Doctors Forum Dr. Nisar Khan and others, Nayyar Bukhari said that doctors and paramedical staff carried out frontline tasks against the pandemic coronavirus. Paying tribute to the services of doctors and medical staff, he said he had handed 45 boxes to the LRH administration on humanitarian grounds.

He prayed for those who had lost their lives fighting the corona virus and expressed sympathy for the family members left behind. PPP leaders ask people to follow preventative measures to protect themselves and their families from illness.

Then speaking with reporters, provincial secretary general Faisal Karim Kundi said that the PPP leadership handed over the necessary medical assistance to doctors based on PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s direction.

He said the PPP would continue such humanitarian assistance at other hospitals in the province including the newly merged tribal areas. He said his party would continue to support doctors and other patients. Faisal Karim Kundi said that the PTI government had damaged the entire health system in the province through a US citizen, Dr. Nowsherwan Burki.

The PPP leader asked Prime Minister Imran Khan to bring back Dr. Nowsherwan Burki, who oversees 10 hospitals in the province to lead a health emergency in Pakistan or the PPP will file a case in the Peshawar High Court or in the Supreme Court of Pakistan to track. The missing Burki.
