New Delhi (NVI): The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 4,437 today after new infections were reported in the country.

The death toll in the country has also reached 64 in the past 24 hours, according to media reports Pak.

Punjab Province has registered a maximum number of 2,188 positive cases, followed by Sindh province in 1,128, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in 560. Gilgit-Baltistan has reported 213, Balochistan 213 and Islamabad 102, according to Geo News.

In addition, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged people to understand the gravity and seriousness of the Coronavirus situation and show responsibility by adopting preventive measures to address the COVID-19 pandemic.

He further reminded when speaking at a press conference that everyone out of 100 in Pakistan might be infected because of Covid-19.
