Indore Police have filed a National Security Act (NSA) against four people who allegedly attacked a policeman while he was in a cage lockdown enforcement duties on Tuesday.
“We have arrested six suspects and a law has been filed against four suspects,” said Vivek Sharma, Inspector General of Police, Indore Zone.
The police told the defendant, who was in the vehicle, that they could not pass Chandan Nagar remembering the lockout on Tuesday, but they went out and started throwing stones at him, Sharma said. “Because he was alone at the time, he had to run away and ask for help, who immediately arrived and arrested them,” he added.
The police sent Javeed Khan (25), Saleem Khan (50), Imran Khan (24) and Sameer Anwar (22) to Jabalpur prison and Satna.
