Civil society pays tribute to the prime minister | Instant News


RawalpindI: A large number of civil society members including real estate entrepreneurs paid tribute to Prime Minister Imran Khan for successfully presenting the attitude of developing countries during his speech at the Virtual United Nations conference on Financing for Development in the COVID-19 era and beyond.

This admiration for the PM came out during a meeting arranged and led by North Punjab PTI President Haji Mohammad Gulzar Awan’s advisor here at the PTI Public Secretariat, Amn House Peshawar Road Rawalpindi Cantonment. The meeting was held to complement the government’s efforts to control the Corona virus through educating people at the grassroots level about the dangers of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Haji Mohammad Gulzar Awan linked Prime Minister Imran Khan by saying: “Our PM has emerged as a world visionary leader who has won world worship, especially from developing countries”. He added that under the dynamic leadership of the PM, the government had provided an unprecedented aid package to the nation and reduced the public’s financial problems. “Most of the credit of the G20’s decision to include all countries under the International Development Association of the World Bank for debt assistance to Prime Minister Imran Khan is constantly raising voice for the same at all international levels,” said Haji Mohammad Gulzar Awan.

The meeting expressed concern over the public’s response to the government’s appeal to observe preventive measures and SOPs. They said that during the last few days of the month Holly Ramadan people crowded into the bazaar and market in the jungle without adopting preventive measures that resulted in a positive increase in Corona. Participants emphasized the need to educate people from house to house about SOPs and decided to launch a campaign through the use of all media including drop off pamphlets.

They also decided to approach the Ulama and Khateebs in mosques to make people aware of the danger of the Corona Virus and advised them to take all precautions and precautions to avoid exposing themselves to danger.
