LAHORE: One of the Pakistan Super League-V rights holders – Techfront International FZE – has expressed his regret to the top officials of the Pakistan Cricket Council (PCB) and called for a friendly resolution of an unprecedented dispute between the two parties.
In a statement, Techfront International FZE said: “Techfront acknowledged that they were not proactive in obtaining prior permission from the PCB in connection with specific sub-licenses and in the process were not in line with the spirit and provisions of the rights agreement with PCB relating to direct streaming rights from PSL- V.
“We have conveyed our regrets and apologies to the PCB and look forward to their sympathetic consideration in this matter.”
Responding to this apology, PCB said: “We appreciate the right holders’ apology and the detailed explanation offered by them.”
