Prime Minister Imran Khan will chair a National Coordinating Committee (NCC) meeting here on Monday (today) to make further decisions on strict locking restrictions when Coronavirus cases witness a rapid surge across the country.
All major ministers, federal ministers and relevant authorities will attend the meeting that will draw up future strategies given the sudden increase in cases of viruses and deaths in the country.
Earlier on May 7, PM Imran Khan had announced the gradual revocation of lockouts starting May 9 by allowing all industries and shopping-related shopping centers to reopen for five days a week.
The decision was announced after the NCC meeting.
Yesterday, chairing a meeting at the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC), Minister of Planning, Development and Special Initiative Asad Umar said that shop owners must strictly implement a ‘no mask, no service’ policy.
Also, all Sindh Private School Associations were announced Open school from June 15.
As a breakdown, despite the increasing number of new coronavirus cases in Pakistan, the All Sindh Private Schools Association announced to open schools starting June 15.
Please note that Sindh’s education minister Saeed Ghani has announced that schools will remain closed until further notice.
The Sindh provincial government has decided not to reopen public and private educational institutions starting June 1.
Ghani said, “After we see the situation, we will decide to reopen the school.”
