PFA seals three big hotels in Lahore for use of unhygienic food

LAHORE: The Punjab Meals Authority (PFA) sealed three and fined 5 motels labeled as three and 4 star to be used of unhygienic meals in a crackdown in Lahore on Saturday, ARY Information reported.

In line with the small print, the PFA carried out inspections of 26 motels falling in three and 4 star classes. Three of them have been sealed, 5 have been imposed fines and 15 have been issued warning notices.

The director basic PFA stated the motels have been sealed due to use of spoiled greens and fruits.

“The motels have been discovered to have flawed system of storage and expired meat and spices,” he stated.

Earlier this week, the PFA introduced its yearly schedule for checking of various meals objects.

The PFA director basic has constituted particular groups for water, meat, dairy and meals security.

In line with the plan, a lot of the issues could be checked thrice or twice a 12 months, other than shock raids.
