PPP rejects proposed hike in gas tariff

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Individuals’s Celebration (PPP) on Saturday rejected the proposed hike in fuel value by as much as 47 per cent.

PPP senator Sherry Rehman mentioned the Oil and Fuel Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has proposed pushing up the fuel tariff by as much as “45 per cent.” This choice will put an extra burden of Rs175 billion on the plenty, she added.
