SC orders placement of two PML-N MPs’ names on ECL

LAHORE: The Supreme Court docket on Saturday directed the Ministry of Inside to position the names of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) MNA Afzal Khokhar and MPA Saiful Malook on the Exit Management Listing (ECL).

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, who headed a bench of the apex court docket, gave this course whereas listening to a case pertaining to unlawful development.

The bench summoned particulars of the belongings of each the PML-N leaders and directed the authorities to raze unlawful constructions erected by them.

Afzal Khokhar stated the properties they owned have been authorized and constructed as per maps.

“You’re endangering your membership of the Nationwide Meeting by telling a lie,” he warned the lawmaker and added: “We’ve got to eliminate these encroachments.”

Any encroachment on the land owned by abroad Pakistanis, orphans or widows is unacceptable, he asserted.

The chief justice directed the SP Cantt to carry Khuli Kachehri (open public discussion board) at Township to listen to individuals’s complaints.
