Sindh govt to launch ‘grand’ operation to vaccinate stray canines

KARACHI: The Sindh authorities has hammered out a plan to curb the rising inhabitants of stray canines throughout the province.

A “grand operation” shall be launched subsequent week to vaccinate stray canines, in response to the native authorities division secretary Roshan Ali Shaikh.

He stated there shall be no stray canines within the province after a interval of 5 to eight years, including PC-1 of the “Avenue Canine Inhabitants and Rabies Management Programme” can be introduced to a technical committee on the approaching Monday.

Shaikh stated that the standard technique of killing canines can also be getting used throughout the province. “However we can not kill all of the canines. That could be a merciless approach,” he stated.
