KARACHI: The provincial authorities has declared Sindh Meeting Speaker Agha Siraj Durrani’s chamber on the provincial legislature constructing a sub-jail to detain him, reported ARY Information on Sunday.
The PPP chief, who’s in judicial custody in an asset past means case filed towards him by the Nationwide Accountability Bureau (NAB), shall be saved in his chamber as a substitute of jail in the intervening time.
The provincial meeting’s secretary confirmed that the chamber has been declared a sub-jail to detain the speaker.
It’s noteworthy that the NAB has filed a reference towards Agha Siraj Durrani for allegedly possessing belongings past his identified sources of revenue.
The NAB named 20 individuals together with Agha Siraj as accused within the reference filed in an accountability court docket after an inquiry, which continued for 3 months and 10 days.
In keeping with the NAB charge-sheet the accused had been concerned in corruption of upto 1.6 billion rupees.
