LAUSANNE – The Swiss president said on Tuesday that the government was working on various scenarios to defuse the containment measures in the country “when the time came” but the situation was “still far from normal”.
“Different departments are working on different scenarios to facilitate these steps,” Simonetta Sommaruga said, adding that decisions will be made by the Federal Council when the time is right and it will be made progressively. “We are still very far from normal,” he added.
