Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili beat Spanish fifth seed Roberto Bautista Agut 7-6 (5), 6-2) on Saturday to win the Qatar ExxonMobil Open championship in Doha, Qatar.

Basilashvili, 29, struggled through windy conditions and faced no break points in the 90-minute match.

Basilashvili, who knocked out second seed Roger Federer of Switzerland in the second round, has won his last four ATP Tour finals (2018 German Open, 2018 China Open and 2019 Hamburg European Open).

Top seed Daniil Medvedev of Russia will face unseeded Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert in Sunday’s final in Marseille, France.

They halved previous head-to-head encounters, with Herbert winning the final game in five setters at the 2019 French Open.

Medvedev was leading 6-4, 3-0 (40-15) when Australian Matthew Ebden retired injured.

In the other semifinal, Herbert beat compatriot fourth seed Ugo Humbert 6-3, 6-2 in one hour, six minutes. Herbert took nine strokes and never faced a break point.
