Orchester de Chambre de Lausanne in Switzerland has appointed Renaud Capuçon as the next artistic director.

The 44-year-old French violinist, who is also the artistic director of the Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad, co-director of the Aix-en-Provence Easter Festival, professor at the Haute école de musique Vaud Valais Friborg in Switzerland and the Menuhin Academy in Rolle, will take over the role of the conductor Joshua Weilerstein in September 2021.
