Soon Imran will have to answer: Hamza | Instant News

LAHORE: After spending 20 months in prison on money laundering charges, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Hamza Shahbaz was released on bail, here on Saturday.

PML-N center leader Maryam Nawaz, along with other party leaders including Pervaiz Rashid, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Ata Tarar, greet Hamza Shahbaz at the prison gate.

A large number of PML-N workers and local leaders were also present outside the prison. Workers greet their leader by dancing to drum beats and party songs. The party has set up several welcome camps on the Hamza Shahbaz route, from the prison to her home in Model Town. Each camp was full of happy party workers, who blocked the road when Hamza’s caravan reached them. They also rained down on their leaders, especially Hamza Shahbaz.

The order to release Hamza was issued by accountability court duty judge Akmal Khan after the bond bail, held by PML-N’s leader, was verified.

Hamzah, speaking with party workers following his release, said the government had failed to prove even a cent of corruption against him and other PML-N leaders despite being in power for three years and despite holding him in prison for 20 months.

He said that an incompetent ruler had destroyed the country. “Soon those who talk about the state of Medina will have to give an answer,” he stressed. “Those who ask for commissions from Broadsheet are free, while those who save billions of rupees from the state treasury face the NAB case,” regretted Hamzah, adding that government officials lied to the people that they had evidence against opposition leaders. ” Had they had evidence, I would not have been released from prison, “he added.

Earlier, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz arrived outside Lakhpat City Prison where she received her cousin. Maryam got into Hamza Shahbaz’s car instead of using her own vehicle and reached the reception. Hamza Shahbaz’s car was driven by Ataullah Tarar while Marriyum Aurangzeb was also sitting in the same car. Maryam Nawaz also shared her selfie with Hamza Shahbaz on her twitter account.

Before leaving prison, the leader of the opposition in the Punjab Assembly met his father and PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif, who are also in the same prison.

Party sources said Shahbaz Sharif congratulated his son on his release on bail. Sharif’s family members also reached Lakhpat City Prison. Sources said Hamza Shahbaz Rabia’s wife, Javeriya’s sister, Shahbaz Sharif Kausar’s sister, Tehmina Durrani’s wife, Yusuf Abbas’s nephews, Maria Yusuf and Saira Yusuf and Mian Waqar reached prison and met Hamza Shahbaz and congratulated him.

Previously, leaving Jati Umrah for prison, Maryam said Imran Khan came to government through a conspiracy, but now there is no chance for him to come to power again.

Answering a question, he said the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) would soon begin its preparations for the proposed long march, “but it looks like the government may not last before the long march”.

“The certainty of the PTI candidate election in Daska will be forfeited if re-election occurs and that’s why the government is trying to block the ECP decision,” he said.

Resisting the impression that there are differences in the party, Maryam said: “We will do more for the party together.”

He admitted that even PTI members no longer liked PTI and would not support their party in the Senate elections. He claims that Imran Khan’s performance has affected his vote bank too. “To vote for Imran Khan again is to support vote-stealing,” he said, adding that once Imran Khan had conspired to come to power, there was no more chance.

Maryam said PTI assembly members were also looking for safe paths for themselves and PTI was facing rebellions in every province. He said that despite the fraud, the government could not win the Daska elections.

He said the Daska constituency was telling the truth about how PTI stole the election in 2018. “The government is challenging the KPU’s decision to re-election in Daska because they are afraid that the officers involved in fraud will open their mouths and tell the name of their employer,” he said, adding, attempts were made to stop the KPU decision.

“Hamza Shahbaz’s daughter is 20 months old but she is serving her sentence,” said Maryam and tweeted that today Hamza Shahbaz will meet her daughter.

Marriyum Aurangzeb, while expressing his gratitude for the release of Hamzah Syahbaz, congratulated the nation and said that God willing, the nation will also be released from the prison of vote thieves soon.

“Hamza Shahbaz faces Imran Khan’s worst political revenge with courage and courage,” he added.

He said Hamza had become a symbol of resistance to political revenge and NAB-Niazi relations. “Twenty months have passed but no evidence of corruption can be found against Hamza Shahbaz,” he said, adding that NAB-Niazi’s relationship to Hamza Shahbaz can be remembered in history as a dark chapter of political revenge.

He said people were suffering from inflation, rising prices, unemployment, high prices for flour, sugar, electricity, gas and medicine, while the rulers plundered them.

US Unrest: National Guard troops step into Washington as the state responds to requests for help | Instant News

Busloads of buses and cargo of planes, National Guard troops poured into the nation’s capital on Saturday, as governors responded to US defense officials’ urgent requests for more troops to help guard Washington even as they watched anxiously at possible violent protests in their own states.

Military leaders spent most of the night Thursday and Friday calling on the state in an unprecedented call for more National Guard troops to help lock down large swathes of the city in the days before President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. In the dribs and drabs, the governor replied, some agreeing to send an extra dozen, 100 or even 1,000, while others said no.

The calls reflect concerns that violent extremist groups are targeting the city after a deadly uprising on the US Capitol on January 6.

Threats range from armed insurgents to possible attempts to plant explosive devices on so-called soft targets. But as Washington begins to resemble an armed camp, with more than 25,000 guards set to be in the city as early as next week, concerns about violence in the state capital have mounted.

Oregon Governor Kate Brown said she rejected a federal request to send at least 100 more National Guard troops to DC “I don’t think we can safely fulfill that commitment,” Brown said. Oregon has agreed to send 30 to Washington, but state leaders are concerned about violence at the state capitol in Salem.

Others agreed, sparking dizzying bursts of military and convoy flights into the region.

“The peaceful transfer of power is a central principle of American democracy, and Connecticut stands ready to help protect our country.” said Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont, who initially agreed to send 100 guards and on Friday agreed to send 200 more.

In all, more than 130 US Air Guard flights in the past 72 hours have brought at least 7,000 Guard troops to Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, according to US officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss internal numbers. Thousands more were in buses and military trucks, rumbling down the highway to Washington.

Army General Dan Hokanson, head of the National Guard Bureau, called in general aides across the country, and others, such as Army Secretary Ryan McCarthy, called in governors for help. McCarthy praised the state, saying defense and military officials were well aware of the threats they also faced.

“The governors and TAG were great. They helped us a lot,” McCarthy told The Associated Press.

“That’s the problem – that in the midst of a very dire situation you see how great this country is, everyone is getting together and helping each other get through this.”

What began in early January as a routine deployment of some 350 DC National Guard members to aid protests that are expected to explode over the past two weeks became a much larger operation to protect the inauguration and the US Congress Building, and to block access to the city and its many historical monuments.

When the protesters entered the Capitol on January 6, only a little over 100 National Guards were scattered around the city, guarding the Metro’s checkpoints and entrances. Hours later, five people are dead, the Capitol is in disarray and 1100 DC Guards have been activated.

The next day, as information arrived about more planned violence, requests went out for 6,200 members of the Guard from surrounding states.

On Thursday evening, as law enforcement and defense officials flooded maps and conducted security drills, they concluded they needed at least 25,000 to lock down Capitol grounds and vast areas of DC, including the National Mall. And they agreed that most of the Guards would be armed.

At that time, a new chapter of summons to state governors and military leaders began.

Many governors were willing to help, but they made it clear that the state capital was their priority. Some agreed to send more, while others couldn’t. And the numbers vary widely.

Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf doubled his initial commitment from 1,000 to 2,000. Other states managed to collect an additional dozen.

After reviewing threats against its own country, Minnesota decided it could significantly increase its contribution and would send 850 guards rather than the 130 originally deployed to leave, according to the state’s aide general, Major General Shawn Manke.

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has agreed to send 700. On Friday, he announced he would send 300 more – even as he ordered nearly 600 to secure the Ohio state home in Columbus. So it is with the Governor of North Carolina.

Roy Cooper initially agreed to send 200 guards, and on Friday a Ford Porter spokesman said the country would send 100 more. Iowa first said it sent 250 and now the number is 265.

The big military response comes as Congress and law enforcement authorities try to figure out how the US Capitol captured the dramatic power of January 6.

The leaders of four committees in the Democratic-controlled House sent a letter on Saturday seeking briefings and documents from the FBI and other federal agencies as part of their review of the insurgency.

The call for more American soldiers also underscores the Pentagon’s limits on the use of active duty troops. Under the law, they cannot be used for law enforcement, and officials intend to avoid the emergence of armed active forces being used against US citizens on American soil.

Active duty forces routinely prepare to respond to emergencies in Washington, such as flight violations in restricted airspace over DC, and rapid reaction forces are on standby. Other active duty units will take part in various inauguration ceremonies.

Herd carrier, Barkly Pearl, has been banned from entering Australian ports for two years | Instant News

A damaged livestock carrier that has been anchored in a Western Australian port for two months has been barred from using any Australian port for two years after the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) found the lives of seafarers on board had been threatened and it posed a threat to Australia’s marine environment.

This is the heaviest ban for ship owners and operators to date, according to AMSA.

The Barkly Pearl was first spotted off the coast of Midwest WA on November 3 with a hole in its hull and ordered into Geraldton Harbor by AMSA, which released a recording showing the listing in the water.

No livestock on board when detected offshore.

Since then, AMSA has worked with its ship inspectors and ship owners and operators to develop repair plans.

On Thursday night, Barkly Pearl was loaded onto the Norwegian heavy lift Falcon, near the Abrolhos Islands, off the coast of Geraldton.

The ship will be “dry towed” over the Falcon from Australian waters on Sunday.

Finds negligence

AMSA said before it could depart, Barkly Pearl was issued a “denial of access direction notification” under the Navigation Act.

In a statement, AMSA general manager for operations Allan Schwartz said it was a significant decision by the safety agency.

“The appropriate course of action is for AMSA to ban Pearl Barkly for two years.

“This is the first time ships have been banned from entering Australian ports so far,” he said.

“This will definitely affect the ship’s commercial operations.”

The ship operator was contacted for comment.

Operations to transfer aircraft carriers to ships at sea

Attempts last weekend to transfer the ship to Falcon were canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions in the notoriously windy region.

A Mid West Port Authority spokesperson said marine lacing and related inspections were being carried out on site to prepare the ship for departure.

Officers from the Department of Primary Industry and Regional Development and the Western Australian Department of Transport are observing the operation.

An AMSA spokesman said no decision had yet been made on whether the authorities would seek to recover costs from the ship’s owner or operator.

Heavy sanction ‘fit’: Minister of Ports

WA Port Minister Alannah MacTiernan said the Government supported the sentence imposed by AMSA.

“No boat owner is allowed to endanger the life of the seafarer and this is an appropriate decision by AMSA,” he said.

“This is a challenging operation, and we acknowledge the Mid West Ports Authority and all those involved in ensuring the safety of seafarers on board, and the transfer of ships from Australia.”

Career counseling: questions and answers | Instant News

Q1: Dear Pak Abidi, I have finished Intermediate (pre-engineering). I want to become a Space Scientist. For this I want to go abroad to study. I understand this is not easy. Therefore, I would like to know what you recommend and the scope of Astronautical Engineering abroad? If I want to choose a field other than Astronautics, but related to Physics and Mathematics, then what do you think is the right choice for me? (Lubna Munawar Khan, Islamabad)

Ans: Dear Miss Lubna, I think you will definitely get good marks, that is why you are interested in Space Science and Physics and you must have received very high marks in Mathematics and Physics in both Matrics and FSc. If so, then you should have no problem taking an Aeronautical degree or a degree in Physics at any good Pakistani institution in Islamabad, such as NUST, PIAS, Institute of Space Technology, Military College of Engineering, Aeroline Institute of Aviation Studies etc. Furthermore, please note that it is very difficult for Pakistanis especially Muslims to get education in this subject area for obvious reasons. I wish you good luck in your future plans.

Q2: Dear Mr. Abidi, I joined Aviation Management BS. Sir, I plan to specialize. For this purpose, I am considering taking a Masters in Business Administration, MS Human Resource Management, MS Logistics / Supply Chain, or MS Marketing and Finance. Would your expert advice and opinion regarding career prospects in this area really help me? (Muhammad Rafi Jatt, Lahore)

Answer: Dear Rafi, after Aviation Management I would not recommend you to take any Masters program and study straight away. My advice is that you should seek career opportunities and gain hands-on experience in Aviation Management. In that case, if you don’t find a job, get engaged with a paid or unpaid internship within the Aviation Industry. This will give you the opportunity to understand functional processes and in the end you can decide on a specialization for your Master which may be relevant to the aviation industry. Good luck.

Q3: Dear, I am confused about my career plans. I want to join the Fashion Designing field. Can you guide me how to become a fashion designer? Your guidance on colleges / universities offering such programs will be greatly appreciated. Please also tell me what this field covers? (Sanaullah Baloch, Karachi)

Ans: Dear Mr Baloch, for proper counseling and guidance, I need to know your educational background? However, if you have constructed your mind and are hungry to become a Fashion Designer; then of course you can do it. Many institutions in Pakistan offer degree programs in Fashion and Apparel Designing. Some of these that are located in Karachi include: Karachi School of Art, Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design, Karachi Fashion Clothing Design and Training Institute and Academy of Fashion and Fashion Clothing, etc.

I advise you to contact the relevant institutions and discuss with them your study plan and scope of opportunities depending on the specific area you wish to master. The main aspect is that you need to have a clear and deeper understanding of how a designer or artist works professionally.

Q4: Sir, I did my Engineering several years ago (Electronic Engineering). It’s been a long time since I tried and couldn’t find a job I live in Hyderabad. I ask for your guidance and advice for which I am very grateful to you. (Naseer Ansari, Hyderabad)

Ans: Dear Naseer, your chosen field in which you are working your Engineering is a very broad / larger field involving Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Communication Engineering. I advise you to search and identify public sector organizations, companies and institutions that are involved or involved in providing the above services. If you are still unable to find a relevant job, then I recommend you to look for an internship / training program so that you start getting some training and knowledge of a specific area within the scope of your engineering domain. Please note that this internship or training will also give you the opportunity to connect with the right people who will provide you with support in finding a full-time job in the future.

THE STROLLER: Try this for good luck in 2021 | Food | Instant News

TODAY’S WORD precocious. Example: By speaking his first word at 7 months of age and taking his first steps at 8 months of age, little Hunter must be a precocious child.

THURSDAY WORDS researched. This means checking or inspecting carefully. Example: Barney scrutinizes phone records but sees no calls that went off line.

New Year’s Traditions

More than that, this year should start with the traditional fortune foods of peas, collard greens and pork. To really encourage luck, put a penny under each plate and add extra pork.

In some traditions, fish is a common food for the start of the new year – because fish only swim forward, following the direction of the time.

Some people leave their windows open to bring out the old and let the new.

In upstate New York, peppermint pork is sold throughout the holiday season. After you buy a hog, everyone takes a turn to hit it with a hammer and eat a slice for good luck in the coming year.

In some countries, such as China and Latin America, people wear red underwear to raise excitement in the coming year.

In Denmark, people throw plates at the doorsteps of their friends and family on New Year’s Eve. A broken plate on your porch on New Year’s Day is getting better: Shards represent good luck.
