Karachi’s police chief called the rising crime rate speculation
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Karachi Police Chief called the rising crime rate speculation and said that previously crimes were not reported, now 98% of crimes are registered with the CPLC.
Speaking at a ceremony held at the offices of the Trade and Industry Association in the Federal B-Area, additional IG Karachi Ghulam Memon said crime can be controlled and criminals are only punished when people and police are on the same platform.
He said two motorbikes had also been provided by the Industry and Trade Association to increase police patrols and also installed cameras in the area.
Ghulam Nabi Memon also expressed his anger at the police because of the illegal bus obstruction which affected the flow of traffic in the area.
