In line with this, the group has sought solutions for areas of business that are no longer considered to be strategically relevant, and have decided to dissolve Zifru Trockenprodukte and two Snapz companies, one in the US and the other in Switzerland.
Hochdorf bought three companies in 2017.
The company said despite intensive efforts, it could not find buyers for Zifru Trockenprodukte GmbH, Snapz Foods AG and Snapz Foods USA, Inc., and therefore the three subsidiaries would be liquidated.
Hochdorf said no one was interested in submitting an acceptable proposal to take over Zifru Trockenprodukte GmbH, a producer of dried fruit and vegetables in Zittau, Germany. Hochdorf said the German subsidiary was also not expected to turn a profit in the future.
This has led to the board of directors and senior management team opening up the liquidation process for Zifru Trockenprodukte GmbH.
Hochdorf said they also could not find buyers for Snapz Foods AG and Snapz Foods USA, Inc. The two companies will also be liquidated.
No buyers were found for the German vegetable oil company, Marbacher Ölmühle GmbH, however, restructuring at the company means a slightly positive outcome is expected for the current financial year, and therefore the company will remain part of the Hochdorf Group, with investment and markets additional activities planned for further development.
