Morrison, Colorado. (CBS4) The signs were met with crowds of people Bandimere Speedway for the July 4th event offers the warning that you enter at your own risk. Bandimere Speedway lasted from the 4th of July Jet car nationals, events and fireworks on Saturday, as planned.
In the level of the crowd was limited at the level of 175 Department of health Jefferson County. It is unclear whether the Speedway exceeded this number on a Saturday night.
As people went to the Speedway, signs, “Caution: enter the place at your own risk. The Institution Is Not Responsible For The Spread Of Infectious Diseases.”
There were other signs, urging people to practice social distancing.
Initially, Bandimere Speedway was hoping to fill 20,000 seats, the seats with racing fans, but Jefferson County public health Department came in.
The County asked the judge to issue a writ of temporary prohibition covering the event for 175 spectators, forcing the Speedway to comply with social distancing and follow the restaurant of the principles of nutrition.
Under a temporary restraining order:
- Masks are optional and please keep in mind that guests will not wear them to make decisions based on your comfort level.
- Please practice self-distancing of family groups together.
- All other rows in the stands will be marked as available for sitting.
In the stands, the rest of the line marked “this line closed” with big red letters “X” and the group encouraged to stay with their family units.
There was some crowding in the concession area and not a lot of masks.
