Mattel introduced his team of campaign Barbie 2020 to July 28.
The new line of the famous doll show girls in the role of public leadership with the goal of getting young girls interested in how they can shape the future of the United States.
“Since 1959, Barbie was defended by girls and encourage them to be leaders, whether in the classroom, in the community or country,” said Lisa McKnight, senior Vice President and global head of the Barbie doll, Mattel reported. “With less than one third of the elected leaders in the United States-women, black women, being even less represented in these positions, we have developed the headquarters Barbie with a diverse set of dolls to show all girls that they can raise their voice.”
Team campaign Barbie 2020 includes the candidate, campaign Manager, fundraiser and voter.
Barbie is also teaming up with the nonprofit organization, she needs to work, which provides guidance and support for women considering running for political office.
