Chris Pratt and Amy Poehler have reunited with their former TV stars including Paul Rudd to get a charity dedicated to feeding people in need amid an ongoing health crisis.
Rashida Jones, Rob Lowe, Aziz Ansari, and their friends repeat their character for one time on Thursday, April 30, 2020, which revolves around Poehler’s character, Leslie Knope, trying to stay connected with friends and colleagues as long as the coronavirus is closed.
The program also saw former cast members Paul Rudd back as Bobby Newport, in the opening segment that urges viewers to donate.
“Hi, my name is Bobby Newport and as you can see, I’m in Switzerland on my family’s private fox hunt plantation, but I haven’t caught him yet. They are very fast. I became close and like, zooming in.” They were gone. “Anyway, my friend Leslie Knope asked me if I would read this message,” Paul said.
At the end of the video, Paul, like Bobby, said, “Did something happen? I didn’t watch the news.” After someone told him, he looked surprised and said, “What ?!” because the camera is cut to black.
The new installments were well received by the fans, who donated their millions for appeal. The running total also includes $ 500,000 in appropriate donations from State Farm, Subaru of America, NBC Universal and producers, writers, and cast
“Thank you to everyone who contributed!” Chris reacts to the news on Twitter. “It’s not over yet. Let’s continue with that number!”
He added, “There are many outstanding salary checks to pay people who are struggling to feed their children now. We are making them stay at home from work to protect our most vulnerable. They have gotten our help.”
Fans can contribute to the fund until May 21 at Feed America website.
