In Pakistan, Politicians Spread Fake News about Coronavirus | Instant News

The new corona virus pandemic has affected at least 6.29 million people worldwide, making it the biggest health crisis in modern times.

As India’s number continues to increase, its closest neighbor, Pakistan, is also slowly inching towards the 1-lakh mark (currently reaching 80,000 cases).

Although we shared many things with our neighbors besides the border, it turns out, false news at the time of the pandemic was also quite common in both places. Above all, people with real power have strengthened this false belief.

A registered Twitter user, at a thread, all fake news that has been spread in Pakistan.

In March, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan said that coronavirus is very similar to flu and you will get better.

No, coronavirus is clearly not just like the flu. Far, far worse, and proved deadly about 3.5% of cases. He also hopes that hot and dry weather will occur reduce virus threat in Pakistan.

Does hot and warm weather kill the virus? Not. While some studies show that the transmission rate does indeed slow down a bit due to high temperatures, it is not kill virus completely.

Pakistan’s Information Minister, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that coronavirus is dangerous, but not deadly.

The corona virus has killed more than 3.80,000 around the world. The Governor of Punjab also suggested that drinking hot water would move the virus from your lungs to your stomach, where it would die.

Correct? Of course not. Drinking hot water is not like that to increase the temperature in your respiratory tract to kill the virus in the cells there. The temperature needed to kill the corona virus will cause heat and you may be seriously injured.

Governor of Sindh Pakistan, Imran Ismail also called the locking of the coronavirus as a ‘symbol of fashion’.

Mode symbol or not, locking applies social distance, which limits the level of virus transmission and hence slow the spread of pandemics.

While Pakistan’s false news is very bad, India is also not much better. In fact, India’s problem is so bad that scientists must form a team to reject the claim.
