ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has made it clear to India that false flag operations will not be tolerated and mistakes will invite an appropriate response.
Foreign Ministry spokesman Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri said India should not dare to attack inside Pakistan.
“They used to have to bite the dust too. If they carry out a false flag operation, they will find no place to hide, “he told The Nation. The spokesman said India had been warned time and time again to stay within its limits and support Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.
“As a policy, we want peace in the region and around the world. We only responded when India forced us to do it, ”he warned.
Chaudhri recalled that India’s war action against Pakistan on 26 February 2019 was defeated in a short time. He added that the Indian crash was effectively contained by the Pakistan Air Force, which resulted in the downing of two Indian warplanes and an Indian pilot being captured. Despite Indian provocation, the Indian pilot was released by Pakistan as a sign of peace, the spokesman said.
Recently, Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned that India is planning an armed attack on Pakistan. His warning came as India committed a ceasefire violation along the Line of Control, leaving several civilians injured.
“I reiterate that a false flag operation is imminent from India to distract the world from the ongoing genocide at IOJK (Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir),” Khan said in a tweet.
Tensions between nuclear-armed neighbors flared after New Delhi revoked Jammu and Kashmir’s special status.
PM Imran Khan’s Special Assistant for National Security Dr Moeed Yusuf said the UNSC resolution is the only mechanism to resolve the Kashmir dispute and India must cancel the move by 05 August 2019 before a substantive and meaningful dialogue is possible.
Yusuf has accused India of using the coronavirus as a cover to expand the so-called oppression against the Kashmiri people.
The global community, the United Nations and international health-related organizations need to immediately take note of the severe humanitarian situation in the region and provide immediate medical assistance, he added.
Echoing Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks, Yusuf warned that India could use false flag operations to support its expansionist plans by launching military action against Pakistan.
Separately, Pakistan also urged the United Nations to follow up on the “evidence” it has provided and “urge India to abandon the use of terrorism as an instrument of state policy, dismantle the terrorism infrastructure that has been established to inflict terrorism in Pakistan, and stop using other countries’ lands for terrorist activities that have been erected. aimed against Pakistan. “
International relations expert Dr Rasheed Ahmed Khan said India has a habit of misleading the world through lies. “Pakistan has sufficient evidence that India is engaged in subversive activities that make Pakistan unstable. India is a terrorist state and carries out state terrorism to destabilize regional peace and stability, “he said.
The indigenous peoples’ freedom movement in IIOJK, he said, should not be equated with terrorism. “Indian political and military leaders have recognized that India is funding terrorists to sabotage peace in Pakistan. The international media also exposed plans for Indian hegemony and expansionist policies. Islamabad needs to carry out aggressive diplomacy to counter India’s evil designs, “he said.
Khan said the Indian lobby slandered Pakistan’s image on the international front. Pakistan has many options for countering India’s hegemonic policies.
“India must act as a responsible country and make collective efforts for regional development. Indian political leaders must realize that India cannot rise without involving its neighbors. Pakistan is a responsible nuclear country and we always support every initiative taken for regional development, “he stressed.
