South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir took off from Pakistan on Sunday after in the country since March because of the travel restrictions imposed as a result COVID-19 pandemic.

The Pakistan-born bowler hat and went to the West Indies, where he will compete in the upcoming Caribbean Premier League.

Karachi: South African leg-spinner Imran Tahir finally departed from Pakistan after the country since March because of travel restrictions imposed on the wave Covid-19 pandemic.
The Pakistan-born South African bowler flew on Sunday straight to the West Indies, where he will compete in Caribbean Premier League.
Tahir arrived in Pakistan to participate in Pakistan Super League stuck in Lahore, when the government imposed restrictions on the entry only after the suspension of the tournament because of a pandemic.
“He belongs to Lahore, so that he remained here as long as restrictions on movement were dropped,” a source close to the cricket said.

Africa leg spinner Imran Tahir said it was a pity that he was unable
to play international cricket in Pakistan.

“I’ve done my best to represent Pakistan, but, unfortunately, not happened,” Tahir wrote. “Cricket South Africa (CSA) gave me the opportunity to realize their dream to play international cricket, for which I am grateful (for) all his life.”

South African cricketer of Pakistani origin said that he would be Proteus forever.

According to the International cricket Council (ICC), Tahir was born in 1979 in Lahore. He represented Pakistan in 1998 at the world Championships U19 V.

He also represented Lahore lions, Lahore Ravi, Lahore whites, Pakistan, Pakistan International airlines (PIA), Pakistan U19s, Pakistan si, patron, XI, sui gas Corporation of Pakistan, water and power development authority and Multan sultans before moving to South Africa.
