But when I told the production team who I was, the next day they moved me to the Taj.”
He went on to add, “And there is no ego / status issue here because I understand I come from a different industry and sometimes we also don’t know about actors and their status that come from different industries. Irrfan is extraordinary
In April, Siddiqui shared her experience of working with Khan when he died in Mumbai. He took to Instagram to write complicated notes on the final legend along with pictures of the time they shared screen space together.
He remembered the first time he realized what a dedicated actor Khan was. “For one of the scenes after studying the dialogue, I saw him do that scene again and again which confused me. I asked him, ‘Irrfan Sahab You know, Rahe Hain? ‘He answered,’ We both play CID agents which means we will show our ID cards everywhere. I’m practicing the scene so I don’t look awkward when showing ID cards. And that was the first time I realized how good he was. “
Siddiqui added, “We became friends at the set and used to hang out together after shooting. I remember for another scene, he wanted to know the word in Urdu that is commonly used in Pakistan and he asked me. He was a great actor but he did not avoid study and perfect his art. “
He then repeated an incident that Khan told him. “One night, he shared an incident where he and his friend got the role of additional actors in the James Bond Octopussy series who were shot in India. But because they were cycling to the set, they were late and the shooting ended.”
Khan has admitted to Siddiqui that he has since wanted to make Hollywood films. And even though it was his second debut in Hollywood, Khan has “proven his courage and conquered the fort,” according to Siddiqui.
